David A. Esquibias

Is an experienced attorney, certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization in Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law. He is member of the California State University, Channel Islands, Advisory Council (2007-2010); a member of the Board of Directors of the Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law section of the Ventura County Bar Association (1998 to present); a member of the San Fernando Valley Bar Association (2006 to present); a member of the Board of Directors of the Los Angeles Pet Park (1999 to 2005); a member of the Board of Directors of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties Chapter (2001-2004); and the Ventura County Bar delegate to the State Bar (2006 – 2010). Mr. Esquibias is a frequent lecturer at the United States Naval Base, Ventura County, on the subjects of estate planning, federal estate and gift taxation, and Medi-Cal planning. Mr. Esquibias received his Bachelor of Art’s degree, from the University of California at Irvine (1987); law degree, from Vermont Law School (1991); and Masters in Taxation degree, from Villanova University School of Law, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (1992). Mr. Esquibias practices estate planning, trust and probate law, focusing on trust and estate litigation, will contests, trust contests, executor and trustee removal, conservatorships, establishing heir and beneficiary rights, and conservator, executor and trustee accountings.

Ruth D. Morrow

Is an experienced family law attorney, handling all issues related to marital law, including pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, separation and divorce proceedings, alimony and child support, custody disputes, family business transactions, and real and personal property division disputes. Ms. Morrow also practices estate planning, trust and probate law. Ms. Morrow has over 30 years experience as an attorney and is well regarded in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. Ms. Morrow is regularly invited by the Ventura Superior Courts to serve as Judge Pro Tem in its family law courts and probate court. Ms. Morrow is very active in the local community, having served on the Board of Directors of Hospice of Conejo (1988 to 1993; Secretary, 1991-1993), Board of Directors of East County Bar Association (1994 to 1996; President, 1995), Board of Directors of Education Television of the Conejo (1996 to 1998), and the Board of Directors of the Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law section of the Ventura County Bar Association (2004 to the present). Ms. Morrow received her undergraduate degree from San Francisco State University (1974) and her law degree from the University of California, Hastings School of Law (1977).

Sara J. McLemen

Is an attorney bringing more than 20 years of both business and legal experience to the firm. Her practice focuses on drafting comprehensive estate plans that meet family and individual needs, trust and estate litigation, probate, conservatorships, guardianships, and trust administration. Sara makes frequent appearances in both Ventura County and Los Angeles County Probate Courts. Sara received her Bachelors of Arts from the University of California Davis in 1999, and earned her Juris Doctorate from McGeorge School of Law in 2009.

Sara has been a licensed member of the California State Bar since 2010.  She is a member of the Ventura County Bar Association.  Sara was a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) in Northern California for several years and now volunteers with several local youth organizations.
